Today’s Wisdom: Forward Progress and Taking Care of Our Needs

When we hold the dysfunctional Programming of not taking care of our own needs, it is often expressed as taking care of others’ needs instead of our own. Yet even in the absence of others’ needs, we can still express “not taking care of our own needs” by not committing to ourselves, or by not getting anywhere in Life or failing to move in a way that propels us forward (not living up to our God Given Purpose), or by being self-critical, or by self-sabotaging our own progress, or by being stagnant or having “paralyzed thinking.” When we are caught up in our dysfunctional cycles, we move in circles rather than breaking out and making forward progress. Understand this, take a look at any self-defeating habits, and instead, focus on moving in a forward direction.
